Should say Perfection

Ok, so no watch is perfect. I took a chance on this new brand, liked what I saw and read and if everything was 'as it appeared', these would be worth every penny of the not so cheap price. My expectations were met, perhaps exceeded. This is an exceptionally well executed watch. I own numerous watches costing much more from big name brands that I love, but this piece is welcomed into my collection lovingly.

High Value

The whole process from buying to delivery was super smooth. The watch itself you will fall in love with. Mesmerizing guilloche and the solid bracelet with beautiful engraving at the back. Consider me a fan of Atelier Wen.

Great watch

The perception by atelier wen is a beautiful watch with many fine details.

Lovely Watch

Beautiful, elegant, and surprisingly sturdy. This watch has a fantastic dial, and an excellent bracelet. It is also fairly scratch-resistant, thanks to the 904L steel.

Good watch. Expect huge custom taxes.

The dial is great. However buying experience especially the communication before buying was not so impressive. The rotor at the back of the watch is black. It d haven been better if it’s golden. I would love to see a more fancy watch with 42mm and fight with the upper luxury brands. Also I was surprised by the total amount I have to pay including the custom taxes. All in all, I ll keep follow Atelier Wen.

What are your favourite aspects of the watch?: Would that be possible to get more function like moon phase complication & date complication?
Atelier Wen - Perception

I recently added two timepieces, the Piao and Xia, to my collection, mainly because I loved the colors of their dials. The metal watch strap is particularly clever, as it can be extended, providing both comfort and versatility. The clasp’s deployant system is a standout feature, hiding a telescopically extensible blade—one of the brand's latest innovations. This design ensures the blade remains short for maximum wrist comfort while still allowing enough room for your hand to pass through the bracelet when fully extended. Overall, it's a thoughtful and functional design.

Very Good

What are your favourite aspects of the watch?: Ying: I LOVE the dial. I love the fired blue hands in contrast to the very monochrome feel to the watch. It’s truly a beautiful watch overall.
AW 🔥

Was “watching” this time piece for a while. Thought for a long since the V1 came out. Then, when I read up on all the improvements they were going to make based on the feedback they got, I was SOLD.

To me, the long awaited Perception (Ying) was well worth it! The attention to detail, the responsiveness and kindness of the team, and the entire community: these all are what make this a true masterpiece!

I had some slight issues with removing some of the kinks in the bracelet (the locite placed to prevent the screws from being too loose). When I reached out to the AW team, they were very responsive and were able to help me through the process!

What are your favourite aspects of the watch?: Clasp and Dial
Impressive dial and bracelet

What an impressive dial this watch has to offer. The art of handmade dials is still alive and being bale to produce a watch at this price point with this level of finishing is an eye opener. Also one of the better clasps in the watch world. My main gripe would be the movements, it would have been nice eto offer stop seconds at this price

What are your favourite aspects of the watch?: Dial and bracelet clasp are a standout
Impressive dial and case finishing

I spent a week on the wrist with this watch and found it to be so well made, it left and impression on me. The dial, being hand made is really something to be enjoyed visually in the hand and on the wrist. Ideally if the watch had stop seconds function on the movement, it would complete and already impressive watch

What are your favourite aspects of the watch?: The overall classy look is a terrific piece of work.
Sublime perception

I am so enthralled with my purchase, every time I lift the watch to wear ,I have a great feeling I have made a great purchase.
I have never looked so much at the time before now I find myself having a momentary fix on the dial and savour the details of the finish on the face and strap.
Looking forward to see what you guys come up with on your next watch design
You’ll have to be good to top the perception

What are your favourite aspects of the watch?: Favorite aspects are the guillouche dial, and the integrated bracelets which fit so well.
I have all three Atelier Wen Balance Perception Watches & I love them.

I started out with the red dial, and I love the feel of it on my wrist with the beautifully integated bracelet, and the guillouce dial is beautiful and gets lots of comments. I love the dial. I then proceeded to buy the yellow dial and the blue dial, and they are all part of my regular watch rotation.

Proud Owner!

The design and execution of the timepiece is simply amazing! Perhaps the best value for the money I have ever seen and the team is also top notch. Thank you Atelier Wen!

What are your favourite aspects of the watch?: Looks and comfort
A beauty just missing accuracy

Watch is stunning, everybody in Switzerland wants to know what it is. The only thing that could be better is accuracy, the time has to be adjusted often, mostly time is in advance by 5min after 1-3 days.

My Atelier Wen Perception II.

The beautiful guilloche dial is the first thing that stands out to me. Mine is in a copper colour which perfectly compliments the 904L steel case. The delicate, well finished bracelet is reminiscent of that on a 1970’s Vacheron Constant 222, (which is no bad thing) and benefits from an ingenious adjustable clasp mechanism. There is a distinctly oriental feel to the whole design which oozes a quality not often associated with Chinese watchmaking. The slim case and bracelet look really good worn on my relatively slender wrist, and it’s difficult to not keep looking at that gorgeous hand turned guilloche dial when I’m out and about. It keeps excellent time and it’s interesting to peek at the movement through a sapphire window in the shape of a dragon’s mouth. I ordered my Perception II with an additional comfortable grey rubber strap which has a stand out clasp, reminiscent of the circular calatrava symbol on a leather Patek Philippe strap. One other thing I love is the unexpectedly luxurious case the watch comes in. It’s a work of art in it’s own right and a real treat to open and close.
